Mini Highland Cows Refund Policy Explained
Mini Highland cows refund policy is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and clarity when purchasing a calf from us. At Premier Mini Highland Cows, we take pride in raising healthy, well-socialized miniature Highland calves and ensuring every buyer has a positive, confident purchasing experience. Because our calves are living animals and require extensive care, preparation, and veterinary oversight before leaving the ranch, our refund and return policy is structured to protect both the buyer and the wellbeing of the calf. Our mini Highland cows refund policy clearly explains deposits, payments, and delivery expectations.
Below is our official policy.
All Sales Are Final
Once a calf is purchased and a deposit is placed, all sales are final.
We do not offer refunds or returns simply due to a change of mind, unexpected expenses, lifestyle changes, or buyer circumstances. Before making a purchase, it is important to understand our mini Highland cows refund policy to avoid misunderstandings.
Purchasing a live animal is a serious long-term commitment, and we encourage all buyers to consider the responsibility before placing a deposit.
Deposits
Non-Refundable Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve any calf.
Deposits ensure that the calf is held exclusively for you and is removed from our availability list.
Deposit Transfers
If necessary, deposits may be transferred to another available calf at our discretion and only if the original calf has not yet been picked up or delivered.
Deposits cannot be refunded.
Health-Related Refund or Replacement
We stand behind the health of our calves.
If a licensed veterinarian determines that your calf has a pre-existing, life-threatening health condition within the terms of our Health Guarantee, we will:
Offer a replacement calf of equal value OR apply a credit toward a future purchase.
Please note:
Veterinary documentation is required.
No cash refunds will be offered under any circumstances.
Buyer must comply with all Health Guarantee requirements for eligibility.
Returns
Due to biosecurity concerns and the health risk to our herd, we do not accept returns of any calf once it has left our property.
This protects both your new calf and our existing animals.
If, at any time, you feel unable to care for your calf properly, please contact us. We will assist in rehoming guidance, but we cannot accept the calf back onto our ranch.
Cancellation Policy
If a buyer fails to:
pick up the calf on the agreed date,
communicate delays,
or complete payment by the scheduled time,
the calf may be relisted for sale, and all payments made—including deposits—are forfeited.
Transportation Fees
Any transportation or delivery fees are:
Non-refundable,
Paid directly by the buyer,
Not covered under any refund or replacement policy.
If delivery must be rescheduled due to weather or transport availability, we will help coordinate, but fees cannot be refunded.
Buyer Responsibility
Once the calf leaves our ranch, the buyer assumes full responsibility for:
Transport safety
Ongoing health care
Nutrition and housing
Vet visits
General wellbeing
Injuries, illnesses, or complications arising after pickup/delivery are not grounds for refund or return.
Our Commitment
While refunds and returns are not possible once a calf leaves our ranch, we stand by our animals and our buyers.
We offer lifetime support, guidance, and honest communication to help ensure your Mini Highland calf thrives in its new home.
Our goal is for every buyer to feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the entire process. This mini Highland cows refund policy protects both the buyer and the welfare of the animal.
